Rat

A rat will run and hide from the sun

vermin ridden living in a slum

inexcusably caring for none

greedy in nature for number one

Rat babies are many, wandering free

poison is laced to kill the rat tree

attack the rats or let them be?

decide the correct thing for their being

Another look at the rat then we will see

they love to be with their rat family

feeding their babies loving their own

chewing their food complete to the bone

intelligence beyond our ignorance 

beautiful as a pet friend

playfully climb completely prance 

sit on one’s shoulder in a hug 

scurrying slowly across the lug

the rat is a clever friend or is it a thug?

Perfect the day of our meet, a confident sheister

clever in words, speaking so sweet

years of struggle have laid my soul bare

torn apart, not for the first, the second, the last 

loving you with all we have in the past.

ugly as a monster, unbearably weak

cannot feel or dare to speak

once again to feel thy worth

a nothing person from the day of birth 

fighting to keep down weight of an outgrown girth 

living a life creating confusion 

if I never had to speak again, I would not

yet my soul aches for the correct words, I have forgot.

confusion negotiates a destructive history

yet a grounding impact is my only fish tree

Think Today of Yesterday

The importance we must recognise about the Reform party’ is the Xenophobia and Racism; the change in what happens from removing Health and Safety laws that could impact every human in the United Kingdom. it can only be learnt from recent history and what has already happened by the leadership charge of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party, The brainwashing of ordinary Germans leading to Germany exterminating Black people, Gypsy’s, Disabled people not forgetting  6 Million Jewish people that were brutally murdered. The German race was lead blindly into believing lies and false media attention over many years leading to the rise of The Third Reich’ and The Second World War’ We must not allow that to happen again anywhere in the world particularly not in the UK. 

Do not let fear weaken your humanity., remember Jesus loves you, no matter where you are from or whatever denomination you have. Forgive all and love all even your enemies, do not judge but leave it to god to judge the righteous.

Hope to survive

One day of freedom, one day of joy

just one day for every girl and boy

they are beautiful and require our love

our support, our encouragement 

forgiveness from our god above

is it a dream to want such things real

or is it expectations that are not in the deal

Is living about a day of fun 

then every other day of misery 

that cannot be undone

ignore social media, put down your phone

speak of nitty gritty, yar things to the bone

conversation and hugs with tender gloves

a world of kindness fill it with love

release the stress, akin to releasing a dove

kindness to all can be patiently shared

consider empathy to all as we care

receiving is great as we open a surprise 

filling the soul is from giving a prize 

a warm emotion with love as a guise

a word from the author -

 Show kindness in your thoughts to those that are suffering or escaping repression, violence and horror in their own countries, so much so that they have escaped from awful conditions and arrived in many countries including the uk. Please remember they are human beings with children and families just as you have and although it is of course difficult to accept many numbers arriving, we will and have to leave it in the hope that all governments can get together to arrange some kind of peace and help within these countries so that people will see trust with welcome arms and a future of wealthy existence and homes to be repatriated back to within the homelands whence they once came. So my message is clear - Judge not those you don’t know or understand and have a Merry Christmas 2025.
